Dear Mr and Mrs Fox,
In your 1031 Exchange business do you provide a two signature policy where no investor monies may be moved from any account without both the QI’s signature and the signature of their customer the investor?
You both have wonderful substance factors but it seems a bit risky as well as unsubstantiated that you bill your site as the “most complete and objective source of 1031 exchange information on the web” in light of the fact that you are in the 1031 exchange business.
Can you see why that statement might be difficult for investors to believe?
Considering that Ed Okun and Donald McGhan of Southwest have brought incredible pressure on the govt to regulate QI and exchangers going forward into the future, how do you as a 1031exchange company propose to convince people your business is honest, ethical, and worthy of their trust?

Hi Dean
Thanks for the positive feedback on our content.
We say that we provide objective information precisely because we are not directly in the 1031 exchange business.
1031NetEx.com does not provide qualified intermediary (QI) services, realtor or real estate brokerage services, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
1031NetEx.com is an online network that connects professionals and investors in the 1031 exchange industry.
We provide these professionals and investors with tools and resources, such as objective information, networking, property and professional services listings, and individualized 1031 exchange time-lines and email alerts that are helpful to anyone engaged in a 1031 exchange.
We think that the resources that 1031NetEx.com can provide to investors will help them to be better prepared and smarter investors, and therefore far less likely to be taken advantage of by unscrupulous individuals or fraudulent schemes.
Also, we completely agree with you that a two-signature policy is the best practice for qualified intermediaries.
